MY NEW SET UP MINI STUDIO WORKSHOP

* Just finished the interview. Heard from them that it will be shown on 22nd Dec 2009 Channel 8, 1830hrs news. Haha, maybe for 1-2 minutes or less.. Channel 5 news might have too as it was conducted in two languages...

Actually yesterday was doing a simple cleaning up of my mini studio workshop as today have an interview by mediacorp channel 8, 1830hrs news reporter coming over to do a short interview with me.

Throw away alot of un-used materials and shifted alot of things to another room.

Sorry for the lack of blogging recently as during these festive season's. Been very, very busy
and also been flying back to my main office and factory to help out and also to train more
artists to prepared for next year.

FULLY CUSTOMIZED 3D CARICATURE OFFICE THEME FIGURINE - ONE & ONLY COOPERATE GIFT'S FOR YOUR BOSS

This was actually the best fully customized " Office Theme " figurine we had done so far. To be precise, we had been in this trade for around 15 years. And even right now, nearly 85%-90% of what you can see globally were all our former artists been trained by us.

This customer's actually approached us and placed a fully customized order. But her order's was supposed to be only the office background will be fully customized. But the figurine was a standard design body and not supposed to be fully customized.

But eventually we had done the whole product up as fully customized order. And also the background was at least 1.5 times bigger than the order she placed.

This job's, we actually make some losses due to the numbers or accessories done for the self, table etc... But we want the customer's to had a unique & special farewell gift's for their boss who would be posting out from Singapore. And that was why we had stretched to our limit to get it done for her.

It not always good to be able to do a good and high resemble figurine. For this figurine, think we had done it in too high quality in resemble etc. And due to this figurine. More than 30 over of my figurines for my other customers were also been trapped at the custom clearance because of the nature of this figurine design's.

We had a hard time to get the shipment send out on 14th Nov 2009 to be cleared out due to this figurine. And running my Unusually Creation business in Singapore for coming to 8 years. This was the first time that I had my customers orders delayed. We had a hard time explaining to the customers been affected. But we managed to get them a replacement's customized item for them to present it for their occasions.

Finally it took us a long and tedious process to explain and finally got it cleared out and now this batch of figurines were finally here and ready to be send to my customers who been affected.

Decided to post it up to share with my customers who are reading my blog and also to make used of this chance to send our most sincere apology to them once again. And also thanks those customers for their kind understanding.

THE LONG AWAITING CUSTOM CARICATURE CHRISTMAS MINI FIGURINE IS FINALLY LAUNCHED

For the past few weeks. We had endless request asking us to create an exclusive Christmas design mini doll that can be present as Christmas gift's for their loved ones, friends, colleagues, bosses, teachers etc.

So we had rush out a mini doll dress in a Christmas Santa Claus attire design. This can be made as key ring, phone dangler or memo clip stand. This design will be unisex usage.

So for customers who interested to get this as an " One & Only " Christmas gift for their loved ones. Please placed your order to us before 10th of Dec in order to get it before Christmas. But we had limited stocks for this design. At present, only 100pcs bodies were been created due to time constraint.

FULLY CUSTOMIZED 3D LOVELY COUPLE FIGURINES ON MOONLIGHT BACKGROUND

This customer's actually placed 3 sets of orders from us. He came down with his wife to my place with their wedding photo album and we spend sometimes to actually sort out which photos to use for which set etc.

Heard from him that he intended to use 1set as wedding cake toppers, one to be tied in front on his wedding car on the wedding day itself. And the fully customized set was actually meant as a surprised to his wife to be. Very sweet hubby right?

These figurines attires and postures were actually customized to customer's photos but the moonlight background was actually our standard background.

But this email taught me a new word. " inalienable " ...Haha before that I don't know about this word will today. Found out the meaning already as " 不可分割 " ...

For all order's placed with us at www.unusually.com.sg. We will provide u head proof's for standard design figurine. This process will be to ensure the quality of the finish figurine resemble to the photo will be met.

As for fully customized figurines. There will be an additional body proof's be given for approval. This is to ensure the sculpted body posture & attires were made to your requirements.

This additional process actually increases our production cost as more man-power had to be committed to this process. But to ensure the quality & resemble of " Unusually Figurine ", we will be glad to do it since we were the pioneer who created these type of customized 3D figurines 15 years back...

MEDIACORP CHANNEL 8 TV PROGRAM SHOW - " 明星特派员 " - A* PLANNER

Actually this was filmed 2years back when our office still located at Bukit Timah Shopping Centre.

We actually got a call from the producer's of the program telling us to rush our a job's for them and it was meant for the show last episode which they had invited Zoe Tay to host the program with Jeff Wang. The show title was " 明星特派员 " - A* Planner ...

When met them in person. They were really friendly & nice especially Zoe Tay. Haha she even offered me chips ...

These were actually made as a full custom request. They wanted their wedding figurines to be dress as their actual day attires and standing on a green as both of them were golfing buddies too.

Actually this was our newly launched standard lady design's named as " Sexy Bikini Lady Figurine " but standard color of her bikini was white not pink.

Customer requested us to amend the color for him. And he also requested to add a custom beach umbrella.

NEW CUSTOM CARICATURE MINI DOLL DESIGN

This design was actually initially only meant to sell as a couple set meant for wedding series.

But these 1-2 months, alot of customers wanted us to add these to the key ring and phone dangler option.

As the figurine will be hand made through out from head to toe to customer's request. Sizes can be from 10cm - 17cm. It can be made as fixed or bobblehead.

EDELMAN 20TH YEAR ANNIVERSARY GIFTS - CUSTOMIZED 3D CARICATURE FIGURINES

This was a cooperate job's done for one of the top " PR Agency " globally. It was meant for their Singapore employees for their 20th years anniversary celebration.

They had chosen our standard designs but we had put in an extra efforts for them by amending the colors of the male & female figurines attires so to at least had a few different feel since they had orderred around 40pcs for their event's.

Hi, Adam,

Our staff were thrilled with their individual mini-me. Only a minority felt the dolls did not really look them but they could see that their features were on the doll. But, aiyah, everyone wants to look handsome or pretty.

Anyway, I need to send some back to you for repair work. The fringe on my doll broke in two places L I tried super gluing them back but it looked ugly. So, I think I should leave it to the expert. I hope to have all the dolls that need some repair work by Thursday so that you can collect them on Friday, can? I’ll have the cheque ready to hand to you as well.

Judging by the response, I think there will be a lot of referral business. One consultant wants to suggest this to a client as a gift for the journalists when there is a press conference. I hope that you will get lots and lots of referral business.

Thanks to Ms Agatha for her support. She actually called me to discuss on this project's when I was at Taiwan to attend a interview & meeting etc ...And we actually finalised this job's within 12hrs after our conversation's.

Usually giving customized figurines for your employees during your company's D&D, anniversary celebration etc will be a great hit. Plus they will loved to show around to colleagues their very own mini me of themselves & due to miss handled, a common problem will be fringe been chip off etc. For such cases, we had already advised client's that they could send back to us and we will fix it for them FOC since we can already foresee after doing so many cooperate orders and events.
